Windlehurst School provides school places for children with an EHC plan stating Social Emotional and mental Health needs for the Stockport Metropolitan Borough. We have 2 sites within the Stockport Borough supporting 48 secondary school age pupils.

We are a unique school offering vocational and academic qualifications to enable all our pupils’ successful outcomes.

Learning Support Assistant (for SEN pupils)

Salary: Scale 4 £19,554 - £21,166 p/a

(Actual salary range: £14,104 - £15,275 plus Midday Assistant allowance)

No. of hours: 31.5 Term time only

Windlehurst School currently caters for up to 50, 11 to 16 year olds who have statements for SEMH and we have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant.

We require quality Learning Support Assistants working between both our sites in Marple and central Stockport.

We invite applications for Learning Support Assistant, to work with our highly dedicated and specialist team to give support to our students. We welcome applications from highly committed, organised and enthusiastic people who can work creatively and flexibly with young people.
