Windlehurst School – Head Teacher Message

At Windlehurst School we work with pupils from across Stockport and all of them have their own personalities that make them unique as individuals. Our aim is to build up and maintain positive relationships with the pupils so we can meet their individual needs and help them towards achieving their potential.

We want students to enjoy their time at Windlehurst and leave school having had positive experiences that they can then take into the wider community and prepare them for adult life. This includes opportunities to achieve qualifications that are relevant and appropriate and also chances to develop social skills in a variety of settings.

We aim for our pupils to develop academically, physically and emotionally during their time with us and want them all to have as positive a learning environment as possible. We hope to help pupils and their families be as happy as possible about school life and as staff, we want to enjoy the work we do with the school community.
